we need you!

You will assist in further scaling the sales & commercial process for Koppie and OtherKinds. That implies both a desk-part of the role (setting up the tools, the processes, desk research) as well as feet-on-the-street role (visiting restaurants, bars, stores, collecting consumer feedback).

 

You will be conducting experiments to collect customer & consumer feedback to ensure we make the right decisions as we scale further.

What’s on the menu?

Visit (coffee) bars, restaurants and gift stores/food stores to sell & collect customer feedback

Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform commercial strategy (product, price, promotions)

Help set up the right tools for our commercial pipeline: target screening, CRM system, automated feedback loop.

Build a relationship with our initial customers & help marketing build a sustainable community

The essential ingredients!

You have or can showcase:

Enrolled in a master degree of an analytical major, ideally commercial/business in nature

Social, outgoing, like to talk AND listen to people

You have an infectious enthusiasm that makes you a natural sales rep

You are looking to learn about coffee, the coffee market, and sales

Fluent & professional in English, other languages (Dutch, German, French) are a plus

A constructive, open attitude, with strong curiosity and a desire to learn and grow

[Nice to have] Strong interest and knowledge of the coffee world, including certification

[Nice to have] Interest to leverage AI in the support of the sales & commercial process

What you can expect from us?

  • Contract type: minimum 3/5 | Time to be discussed based on availability, the longer the better

  • Paid internship, we seek talent and expect the intensity of a job - it's only fair to compensate you 

  • Open, high pace and challenging environment where you energy is contributing to something meaningful.

  • Minimal travel required of 10% - 2-3 days/month (trade fairs, customer visits, …)

  • Cannot have pulse allergy (soy, lupin) or lactose allergy
